For our project, we investigated Spotify to determine whether sound has changed over time and who (which country) streams the most music. Our group created an interactive website with a Streams Dashboard and a Sound Dashboard. Our Streams Dashboard explores which country streams the most songs in addition to the top streams of 2020. Our Sound Dashboard analyzes the Audio Features (Acousticness, Danceability, Duration, Energy, Instrumentalness, Liveness, Loudness, Speechiness, Tempo, Valence, Popularity, Key and Mode.) Learn more about these features on our Glossary Page. We've included the data tables we used for our dashboards with interactive filters. Through our analysis, we concluded that tracks based on their sound audio features have changed over time and that the United States streams the most tracks.
